Pietro Bandini lives, works and thinks in the environs of Parma. He has been interested in photography, music and the visual arts all his life; since 1996 he has been Parma Jazz Frontiers Festival official photographer.

Contributor over many years to the magazine Jazzit and to the International Guitar Festival Niccolò Paganini, in 2004 he co-founded the Phocus Agency for the photography of concerts and cultural events.

For many years he has carried forward his personal research into picture making.
